Hummingbirds enjoyed a 'roarsome' dinosaur day just before the Christmas holidays as part of their Wild Earth topic. The ambitious aims of the day were to create a museum of Dinosaur facts and objects of interest, and for the children to become tour guides for their museum. The children learned what a museum was and what the different areas would be in Yattendon Dinosaur Museum. The children then completed four activities with an adult, which included comparing the shell of an ankylosaurus with Mrs Keene’s tortoise Tallulah. They also fitted in drawing an outline of a full sized Stegosaurus!
