Yattendon Judo Club welcomed a visitor from Japan last week. Dr Takeshi, Japan National Judo Team doctor/surgeon accompanied Mr Small and enjoyed observing the session. Dr Takeshi, a Judo 6th Dan and former National Squad member, is visiting the UK to review sports injuries and assist in some ground breaking new surgical techniques. He is also very interested in how ProCoach are successfully delivering judo within schools & would like to see if this system could be applied in Japan. Our Judo Club is now thriving on a Thursday morning.
