Last week saw the school’s Science Week, with each day devoted to a rich array of activities around the theme of ‘looking to the future’.
Pupils were given the chance to apply the skills they’ve been learning in a practical, interactive way. Highlights of the week included selling products they had made out of recycled materials, learning about pollination from a beekeeper, making Lego robots and exploring an electric car.
Looking to the future is also the theme of a set of new marketing materials for the school. They feature the school’s new strapline: Launching pupils into a bright future – inspired and independent, with one pupil per year group sharing their inspirational ‘lightbulb moments’. The posters and flyers are appearing in community venues in Yattendon, and the surrounding area.
