This page shows important information, including current government guidance.  Please feel comfortable to contact us with your questions and we will help you.

If your child develops any coronavirus symptoms whilst at school, you will be contacted by the office to come and collect your child.  Your child will be taken to the isolation room with appropriate adult supervision if required.  A window will be open for ventilation.  If they need to go to the bathroom while waiting to be collected, they will use a separate bathroom which will be cleaned and disinfected before being used by anyone else.

PPE will be worn by staff caring for your child while they await collection, if a distance of 2m cannot be maintained.

You should go straight home and not visit your GP, Pharmacy or Hospital.  You should arrange for your child to have a test as soon as possible.  They cannot return to school until the results of this are negative, or if the result is positive they may return after 10 days of isolation.  The rest of your household must isolate for 14 days from the first day of symptoms or until a negative test result is received.  School is required to inform the local authority of suspected or confirmed cases, so please keep us informed.

If a positive test is confirmed the bubble will close immediately and we will follow Public Health England instruction.
