Exploring L.S Lowry
Our focus artist this term is L. S Lowry.
We analysed his 1943 painting, 'Going to Work', and considered why he might choose to paint this scene. We also discussed how he shows the feelings of the figures without the inclusion of detailed facial expressions.
We watched a clip of Lowry which showed his painting technique. We then had a go!
