Good morning, Kingfishers!
I hope you and your families are all well and are finding ways to navigate through these rather strange times! Thank you for keeping in touch through your lovely emails and sending such stunning examples of your learning!
Were you able to get outside and do some exercise over the weekend, despite the rather wet weather?! Did you enjoy a delicious, healthy meal? Have you slept, deeply?
Sometimes, we can all find things a little challenging – we can feel a bit down and experience slightly tougher days than others. When we feel this way, it is even more important to look after ourselves – not just physically but mentally, too. One of the ways that we can look after our mental health is to spend some time expressing our personalities! We can express ourselves in many different ways – through dance, drama, writing, photography, fashion or art.
How do you like to express yourself?
This week is ‘Children’s Mental Health’ week. Each day, I will encourage you to express yourself in a different way. I will also signpost some optional activities for you to explore on each daily plan.
Today, let’s try and shake off that Monday morning feeling and express ourselves through dance!
