Thursday

Good Morning Kingfisher Class,

This is our last Thursday of learning before the February half term break. Since we all started our learning from home in January, I have marvelled at the quality of learning you send in each week. The effort you put into the activities is amazing and, when you have found things tricky, your determination to try your best is astounding.

I would like to say well done to Florence, Charli, Freya, Elsie, Poppy and one other person, who didn't type their name, for completing last week's Science quiz. Looking at your results, I can see how your Science learning is progressing in this topic. If you didn't complete this quiz last week, be sure to do so today - the link is on our daily plan.

Today, I would like you to spend some time thinking about a fun and relaxing activity which you could do during the half term break.

I find that cake decorating is a wonderfully calming activity. At the weekend, I created a Baby Yoda cake for my husband's birthday and this weekend, I will be making a Super Mario cake for my son's birthday.

Which activities make you smile?

Which activities make you feel calm? Can you decide on a particular day when you will complete an activity?

Let's get started with today's learning,

Mrs Kennedy wink

Today's optional activity linked to Chinese New Year.

If you are using a tablet to access today's learning, you may not be able to hear the sound clips on the French PowerPoint.

Instead, go to https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/subjects/z39d7ty where you can

sing-a-long with a French song, play a game or select a topic to improve your French skills.
