Week commencing 11th January 2021

Good Morning Owls,

 

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and enjoyed time with your families. 

 

I enjoyed playing games and going on walks each day. I like a crisp cold day when I can wrap up in my gloves, scarf and hat! 

 

Last week we began our topic by looking at what a journey is and thinking of journeys we have made or would like to take. We all enjoyed the story Naughty Bus. This week the focus is on another story about a journey from SPACE. It is a great story that I am sure you will enjoy learning it.

The aim of the week is for you to learn the story by heart and perform it. 

 

In Maths the focus is on number 9 and 10. Then using counting skills to compare groups and match 1:1. I will be expecting you to explain how you know or worked things out. You could use the sentence stem I know that ... because...
