• World Book Day

  There was no doubt at all that last Thursday was World Book Day at Yattendon. Children had the options of: dressing up as a favourite book character, bringing in a prop from a story or bringing in a favourite book. Great fun was had by all during the day. We had some FANTASTIC costumes too - from Frida Kahlo and Little Red riding Hood! 

• A marathon in a month

  Following his sister’s recent heart surgery, one of our Year 2 pupils has decided to run a ‘Marathon in a Month’ to raise money for the British Heart Foundation - He will be running a mile most days throughout March to try and achieve 26.2 miles over the course of the month. Any support you are able to offer would be hugely appreciated both in terms of supporting the BHF but also in terms of helping him achieve his goal.
