• History Workshop

  Swallows and Robins enjoyed an engaging History workshop investigating and handling real life artefacts.  They used their detective skills to organise the objects chronologically along a time line from oldest to newest whilst supporting their arguments with historical evidence and prior knowledge.  They explored the various materials and technologies which were available across different periods of History.

   

  

• Robotics Challenge!

  We were pleased to invite other local primary schools for a Robotics Challenge afternoon on Monday. Everyone had a great afternoon building and programming cars using the Lego spike kits, including Mrs Coomber who organised the session.

   

  

• Harvest Festival 2025

  Fri 03 Oct 2025

  Harvest Festival was enjoyed by the whole school on Wednesday. Some children baked bread, Owls paraded their Harvest Crowns, Robins made Harvest Wreaths and read the prayers. Our choir sang beautifully, including some solo performances and we listened to musical pieces performed by Lucy, Fabby and Felix!

   

  Donations were made to the West Berkshire Foodbank.
