  • Christmas Tree!

    Fri 28 Nov 2025

    Christmas has started! Owls walked all the way to the Yattendon Christmas Tree Barn on Thursday to choose our Christmas Tree. Classes will now decorate this very generous gift with their handmade decorations for everyone to enjoy.

     

  • AWE STEM Workshops

    A brilliant afternoon at Newbury Museum for Swallows and Kingfishers.

     

    AWE had organised a STEM event (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) which was arranged into 5 tasks. Working in groups (a task in itself!) the children set up a maze for a laser, solved puzzles using Morse code, created an aerodynamic mode of transport and an earthquake proof structure. Highlights of the afternoon were using the robotic hand and programming a rather endearing robotic dog!
